IT’S a question everyone wants to know the answer to – how much does it cost to get 10m Instagram followers?

Now, The Jess Burgess Agency has come up with a new pricing model that it believes will help catapult their clients to the top of the social media food chain.

The new ‘experiential’ package offered by the company, which includes image editing, post production and marketing, starts at $10k and all photos shared by the client will be custom designed to help increase followers.

With a completely new format comes a completely new format, it's up to the experts to define what that means.

Aspiring photographers can pay $5k to get their first ten followers to ‘build their presence’ on the Instagram platform.

But it’s not a short-term commitment.

Customers who join the agency’s program pay an annual fee – $500 a month – for the advertising, image work, professional images and a commitment to an annual Instagram celebration party.

If one of their customers achieves 10k followers in their first six months, the agency takes 15% of the follower’s net worth.

Instagram's monthly price for entry is currently $4.99.

If it sounds too good to be true, Burgess points out that she has 100 clients with $1.5m Instagram followers who have been able to use her services for years.

For the £125 a month students' package, Instagram-er's can choose from three packages – ‘glamour’, ‘beauty’ or ‘photo edit’, with prices ranging from £1k to £10k per month.

It doesn’t stop there. The company offer a suite of other services.

For example, they help students and teachers with a paid course and an Instagram marketing course.

Mandy Burgess is also the founder of The Business of Art’s Academy, a professional development company and says that everyone is entitled to create a name for themselves.

She said: “We all need to create an Instagram profile and make it stand out. Not all people know how to do this or even what they are looking for.

“But if you just follow everyone else you’ll get nowhere, so now we offer a variety of packages to help people and businesses stand out.”

Academy Director, Clare Clayton, added: “There are a lot of people who don’t know what they want to do with their career – but they need to get something going if they want to get ahead.

“A lot of young people don’t know what they want to do for the rest of their lives, so why not do something for fun now while you’re at university?”
